☁️The Mail Art Postcard Project #9 (November 2022 edition)
It's (almost) in the mail!
Picked up some new pens as promised and while my handwriting hasn’t necessarily improved, the ink is flowing better than last time.
These postcards are going to the sorting station this weekend.
The image on this month’s postcard is a detail image from a plein air piece I painted on the Blomidon Beach area in August. This year has provided an opportunity to paint clouds from both sides of the Bay of Fundy and Minas Basin right up through to the Old Barns area in Colchester. A view from all of the Fundy shores often provide a big cloud system. Painting them makes me feel like a cloud chaser, which is a fun pursuit.

“Both Sides Now” - body of cumulous clouds over the Bay of Fundy. The clouds are not as warm in the original painting. Originals are usually nicer than printed versions anyway, right?
