It’s the message that counts
Did you ever have a pen that sticks? Every time you start to write, you think it’s going to work but then it skips or sticks, so you stop and make a big swirly mark on a scrap piece of paper. Seeing the ink flow again, you think, okay, now it’s working. And then it sticks again? That’s what it was like with the pens I used on these postcards.
Most of you are pretty used to my hen scratch but by the time I had the pen situation under control, the postcards were done. So my apologies, if the writing on your postcard looks even more messy than usual. I’m going pen shopping this week.
Any suggestions?
The Edge of Winter
The image on this postcard was created this month in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. It is a plein air oil painting, that is presently on exhibit at the Art Lab Studios and Gallery at 121 Main Street, Parrsboro.
As always, Mary Ann, I love your notes. I have pens like that also. lol I have a container on my desk with about 12 pens and maybe 2 or 3 of them work. Today is the day, I start cleaning them out.
