Brush with Nature - Kings County Museum

“Urban Trees” 9x12-inches, plein air. In support of the King’s County Museum’s “Brush With Nature” plein air event.

Another beautiful, hot, sunny day in the valley, provides strong shadows to paint. Enjoyed experimenting with colours for the red maple tree in the centre of this setting.

The painting event wraps up today (if you’re in Kentville right now you can come down to the museum to vote for “People’s choice” (a lot of lovely paintings here, so not an easy task).

The show and sale continue through the end of the month, so plenty of time to see the work created during this event.
