On February 9, 2008, the temperature was a frigid -22°C with wind chill, but that didn't stop it from being a fantastic day for plein air painting. Today, as I look outside at the grass battered by the cold for lack of snow cover, I long for the days when the snow blanketed everything except the ocean.
Peggy's Cove holds a special place in my heart, being my first solo destination after getting my driver's license at 16. The route along Prospect Road, just off St. Margaret's Bay Road, offers breathtaking views as it winds its way through Peggy's Cove Road to Upper Tantallon. It's a perfect Sunday drive.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Beautiful little painting Mary Ann! Yes it certainly has been a greener winter hasn't it? Way to go for braving the cold in 2008! xx
